Pereview Software has announced a new strategic partnership with Basis Investment Group, a New York City-based commercial real estate debt and equity investment platform.

Pereview is the fastest-growing provider of asset management software and portfolio analytics to the global real estate industry. By aggregating, integrating, and interpreting data from across the entire Life of the Asset® into an all-in-one platform, Pereview delivers actionable insights at every step of the investment lifecycle.

“We needed a software platform to integrate our diversified investment portfolios” said Tammy K. Jones, the founder and CEO of Basis Investment Group. “We researched many of the commercial real estate software providers. Pereview stood out because of its commitment to work with us to customize a system with the focus on both debt and equity as an investment.

“We look forward to a long-standing partnership with Pereview.”

Pereview’s existing software products offer a model for Basis to integrate asset-level information from its diversified investment portfolio into a single system. The debt expertise of the Basis investment team will enhance Pereview’s existing experience and facilitate the build out of Pereview’s new debt-as-an-asset software.

“Basis needed a software platform to help manage all of their data related to the diversified CRE debt investments they originate and acquire,” said Jeff Wilson, Founder and CEO of Pereview Software. “We are proud that they have chosen Pereview, and we’re excited to expand what will be the industry’s strongest all-in-one platform for both equity and debt.”

Through this strategic partnership, Basis will put in place a software system that will improve its ability to manage its investment portfolio and communicate more effectively with its investors. In turn, Pereview will gain access to new clients now that its software system is available to debt funds.

Founded in 2009, Basis is a diversified national investment platform with a focus on U.S. middle markets. They invest and lend debt and equity across the capital stack, working with Sovereign Wealth Funds and some of the country’s largest pension funds and family offices. Basis has successfully closed over $4 billion in transactions across multiple strategies and asset classes since its founding. They manage a series of Separate Accounts, Joint Ventures and Funds and serve as a Seller/Servicer with Freddie Mac for both small-business and conventional loans.
