I recently sat down with Lisa Pudewell of Caliber Companies to catch up on how she and the firm are so successfully continuing to grow their portfolio and investor base. Caliber chose Pereview as their asset management software solution in February 2019.

Lisa explains why the firm picked Pereview and what value the software has delivered. 

First, a little about Caliber Companies, their investment strategy, and the portfolio.

Lisa Pudewell, Caliber: Pereview has streamlined our business, housing all pertinent data for our assets, portfolios, financing, and funds into one place. This has allowed us to easily create relevant reports that fit our needs, without pulling information from multiple sources.

DP: What is the single most important value that you believe Pereview has delivered for Caliber? 

LP: Reporting. Having Pereview has significantly cut down on manpower and overall time in creating reports. Before Pereview, everything was pulled together manually from multiple locations and held in individual Excel reports. This was extremely time consuming and error prone. Now the data is held in a central location and easily downloaded to Excel with consistent information. That allows our Asset Management team to focus on proactively evaluating assets, versus spending time creating the reports.

LP: Absolutely!

DP: Caliber is well known for hosting fun events – both for your investors and as part of your local philanthropic work. Which events are your favorite, and why?

LP: Anything to do with helping animals is always my favorite! We also sponsor families at Thanksgiving for dinner, and we participate in Christmas toy drives. Seeing the smiles on children’s faces is one of the most rewarding gifts you can receive.

DP: Let’s end with a question that’s near and dear to my heart: what are your favorite sports teams?

LP:  I’m originally from Denver, so I’m a Broncos fan! I also love basketball and, prior to COVID, would attend several Phoenix Suns games each year.
