We sat down for a Q&A session with each of our team members and asked them to talk a little bit about what drives them to pursue excellence and what makes them who they are.
Getting to Know Our Team: Nathan Handberry
What is your role and what do you like the most about it?
Application Development lead for Pereview. What I like most about it is that I get to focus on real estate technology so I’m always learning and carving out a niche in my career in a space that values technology.
Why do you choose to work for Pereview?
I choose to work for Pereview because we have an awesome team of people that work really well together and have fun doing it. I’m constantly challenged to design and build new features to support or bring in clients.
In your opinion, what unique value does Pereview most bring to our customers?
No one can match the combination of technical and real estate expertise that our team has so we’re uniquely positioned to build complex, flexible solutions for our customers. If we don’t do it now, it’s likely on our roadmap.
Our core values as a company are A TEAM: Always Do the Right Thing, Take Ownership, Entrepreneurial, Accountable, Make Work Fun. How have you applied those to your job?
There’s no doubt everyone on the team puts in the extra work to do what is right so I’d say that’s ingrained into the culture of the team. Having done custom development for 15-20 years I’ve got a relentless commitment to ensure we’re designing and building solutions on time to meet our deadlines. On the flip side we’re always cracking jokes and keeping things loose to relieve the stress.
What is your favorite thing to do outside of the office?
It’s hard to narrow it down to one thing, but taking the question literally it’s probably just to get outside. I’m fortunate to live in Colorado so I’m constantly walking around the neighborhood to stay sane. When life allows I like to go backpacking and camping.
If you could watch one movie for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I’m gonna have to go with The Big Lebowski. But that’s just like…my opinion, man.
